The Holiday Drive would like to say thank you to the
U15BB, U13AA and U13A hockey teams. Together these teams have sponsored over
50+ children in the Town of Newmarket. Each of the families who received
assistance provided a list of gifts the children were hoping to receive and the
NMHA community came through. As one of the volunteers with the Holiday Drive
said, "The hockey teams in Newmarket know how to practice
generosity." Thank you to the coaches, players and families who continue
to give back to the Town of Newmarket. The Holiday Drive serves over 100
families during the Christmas holiday season through its vast partnerships in
the Town.
Each family receives socks, pajamas, specific gifts, and a shopping day where families can choose clothing, household items, food, and a food voucher from the Lions Club. Thank you again to the U15BB, U13AA, and U13A teams for your participation in this year's Holiday Drive.
