U13 A, A Rep, 2023-2024 (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

The Holiday Drive would like to say thank you to the U15BB, U13AA and U13A hockey teams. Together these teams have sponsored over 50+ children in the Town of Newmarket. Each of the families who received assistance provided a list of gifts the children were hoping to receive and the NMHA community came through. As one of the volunteers with the Holiday Drive said, "The hockey teams in Newmarket know how to practice generosity." Every player wants to skate fast and get faster each season. It is vital to be effective as a player and necessary if a player wants to play at the ‘next’ level. Let’s be frank. Skating is a hard skill to learn. The movements required for proper skating technique are unnatural movement patterns for our body. That is why learning to be a fast, powerful skater can take years. And that’s OK.
