Newmarket Redmen Minor Atom AA Team Supporting a Great Community Partner
The Newmarket Redmen Minor Atom Teams organized a food drive during the recent Newmarket Atom Tournament in support of the Newmarket Food Pantry. The Newmarket Food Pantry is a charitable organization staffed by amazing volunteers; and provides food and other household supplies to families in need in the Newmarket and East Gwillimbury communities.
On Saturday, December 9th, the Minor Atom AA spent the morning at the Newmarket Food Pantry location sorting, organizing and shelving the many donated food and household items. A very rewarding experience for the kids to volunteer their time, to give back to their community, and learn about the importance and the amazing support this organization provides to families in need throughout the year.
