A Great Start to the Season!
Special congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Minor Atom AA Team for winning the Essex (Windsor) Early Bird Tournament. The team played their hearts out all weekend. As a result of tenacious forechecking, disciplined defence, and unbelievable goaltending, the team was undefeated through tournament play.
In the finals, the team faced a hard working and talented team from Stoney Creek, and after a strong team performance, the Redmen captured the tournament championship with a 5 - 2 victory! A successful and tremendously fun weekend of hockey and team building.
On behalf of the coaches and parents, we are extremely proud of the kids and the way they proudly represented Newmarket!
