An exciting weekend for the Newmarket Redmen Minor Peewee AA Team, with the team celebrating the championship of the Halton Hills 'Best of the Best' Tournament!
The team demonstrated perseverance, resiliency, and exceptional teamwork throughout the tournament weekend. As a result of outstanding goaltending, a commitment to team defence, and a tenacious offensive attack the Minor Peewee AA Team emerged from the highly competitive 13-team round robin play to earn a spot in the final four! The team advanced to the finals to defeat the talented and hard working Leaside Flames 2-1 for the Championship!
On behalf of the coaches, families and friends who cheered the team on all tournament weekend, we are incredibly proud of this special team accomplishment!
