Bradford Blue and Gold Tournament 2018
Congratulations to the Minor Midget MD team for bringing home the hardware and championship this weekend at the Bradford Blue and Gold tournament.
After an exciting first round of playoff like hockey, in close games the Minor Midget team earned its way into the finals Sunday. In a tight game vs Halton Hills that included our share of crossbars and goal posts, we scored in the second period from the point off the stick of Aidan Vokey.
After that it was a total team effort and great goaltending allowing us to pull out a tight 1-0 win for the championship.
The tournament was a great experience and the competition stiff, but they pulled it off, from the goaltending to the offence and defence, well done!!
