Minor PeeWee AA, 2019-2020 (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

The Newmarket Redmen Minor Peewee AA Team participated in a special activity to support those in need this Holiday Season. The Team partnered with the "Kits for a Cause" organization to order and organize an assortment of much needed hygiene supplies (ie. soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, wash cloths). The players prepared care packages of these supplies, then delivered the care packages to Belinda's Place in Newmarket. Special Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Minor Peewee AA Team for winning the Silver Medal at the Buffalo AA Cup! The Team played their hearts out all weekend, demonstrating incredible teamwork, earning a spot in the Championship game, after going undefeated in Round Robin Play, finishing 1st amongst the 16 participating teams. The Team's fast paced attack scored 24 goals through round robin, quarterfinals and semi finals action. The team demonstrated perseverance, resiliency, and exceptional teamwork throughout the tournament weekend. An exciting start to the season for the Newmarket Redmen Minor Peewee AA Team! The team celebrated and earned the Windsor / Essex Early Bird Tournament Championship this past weekend. The team played their hearts out all weekend, and as a result of outstanding goaltending, and a total commitment to team play, the Redmen Minor Peewee AA went undefeated in the tournament with a 5 – 0 record. The Newmarket Redmen Minor Peewee AA Team enjoyed a memorable night as special guests of the OHL Windsor Spitfires during their season home opener. Players were given the opportunity to welcome and help lead the Spitfires onto the ice through "High Five Hallway" and then enjoyed a special guest access tour of the Spitfires locker room and training centre. On behalf of the team, we are thankful to the Windsor Spitfires Organization for this memorable and fun experience and congratulations on a big win in their season debut!
