The Minor Bantam A team lost a heart breaking, but very exciting overtime final to Phoenix Jr. Coyotes at the 50th Annual Aurora Bantam Tournament. It was a 14 team international competition. The team played great, advancing through a tough pool and then defeated
Burlington 1-0 in the semi-finals. In the finals, the team went down 0-2 to start the game but showed great determination and perseverance to tie the game up and send it to overtime in the final minute. Unfortunately the puck took an unlucky bounce, and the team lost in the 3 on 3 overtime by a score of 2-3. The team continues to improve, building off its Bronze medal in Montreal in November, to now have silver in Aurora. Congratulations and go Redmen!
