ATOM AE REDMEN WIN THORNHILL REBELS TOURNAMENT!!
The Atom AE Redmen came to play at the Rebels Mania Tournament on thanksgiving weekend. Although a sanctioned OMHA tournament, it consisted mainly of GTHL teams with one other York-Simcoe team entering the tournament.
The GTHL had no idea what hit them.
The Redmen went 4-0 in Round robin play, stunning all 4 GTHL teams who could only put up 1 goal the entire Round Robin against the Redmen.
With 4 victories under their belt, the Redmen got a bye to the finals against their League rivals the Markham Waxers. The Championship was hard fought, thanks to some brilliant goaltending to hold them in it, Redmen took the championship game 6-3.
