The Midget AA team
finally got the proverbial monkey off their back this weekend by winning the
Pickering Midget Madness Tournament. In their previous two tournaments this
team made the Finals and came up short, but the team was determined to make
this weekend different.
The first difference – unlike in the previous tournaments where they completed the Round Robin stage 4-0, this weekend they had a bit of a struggle but still managed a 2-1-1 record which was good enough for fourth spot and an invitation to the Semi-final in this 12-team tournament.
