Minor PeeWee, 2014-2015, BB (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

The Minor PeeWee AE team competed in the Pickering Spring Thaw Tournament over Easter Weekend.  They dominated all 4 qualifying games with a record of 13 goals for with only 1 against winning all 4 games to clinch their 1st place position going into the Championship game.  During the qualifying games both our goal tenders were stellar between the pipes and every skater made it to the game sheet with either a goal or an assist.

​On March 13th all 17 members of the Minor PeeWee AE team visited the Southlake Pediatric Oncology Center to donate games and toys for young patients to enjoy while receiving treatment.  It was the team's 4th ​"PAY IT FORWARD" charity event and it was a huge success. ​The boys were very respectful in the cancer center today​ and received a tour of some of the treatment rooms.

On Saturday January 31st Rose and Mike Campbell pulled up to the Skate to Great donation site set up at St. Andrew's College and unloaded their PACKED Ford Flex.  Boys from all three levels of Minor PeeWee donated used hockey equipment and skates to the organization.  This is the 3rd "Pay it Forward" event the Minor PeeWee AE team have participated in this 2014/15 season and they have one more planned for March.  This was a fantastic way to help out, pay back and clean out the basement all at the same time! A great response to a fantastic program.

During our Christmas Party, the boys from the Minor PeeWee AE team donated 34 children's gifts of toys and clothes to the local Children's Aid Society.  Way to go boys!
