The Minor Atom AE team together with Northridge Church of the Salvation Army held an electronics recycling event on August 23. Team members had a great time as cars pulled in to unload trunks full of old televisions, stereos, computer equipment and clothing. With a full dumpster at the end of the day, this event was great for the environment, and we raised money both for our team as well as the Salvation Army and their community groups. Many thanks to Leslie Street Rental for providing us with a barbecue so we could also sell food, Vince's Market and Tim Horton's for supplying food and coffee, Northridge Community Church for providing us with a location, and to Ontario Energy Stewardship for supporting this great initiative.
