Congratulations to the U16MD team on an amazing season, finishing with a 47-5-2 record!
The players had a tremendous year in the Regular Season, dropping only 1 game to finish 29-1. The YSMHL Round Robin saw the team pull together and finish with a perfect 4-0 to move onto the Semi-Finals against Barrie resulting in another win for the team.
The York-Simcoe Championships saw the players face-off against the Aurora Tigers. With a very close game, tied 3-3, the players moved into Overtime and a quick goal by Aurora resulted in a tough loss for the Renegades. Although not the ending we were hoping for, all of the players fought with determination and played an amazing game to earn a Silver Medal!
Thank you to our fantastic Players, Coaches, and Parents!
Congratulations Renegades!!

Congratulations to the U16MD Newmarket Renegades on their well-deserved Gold Medal, at the Pittsburgh Can/AM tournament. All of the players were amazing and worked so well as a team...not having a single goal scored on them the entire tournament! It was a fun weekend with the boys playing teams from both Canada and the United States. The team faced their rivals in the Championship game that went to a sudden victory over time and then a shoot out. The Renegades came out on top with a 1-0 win to take home the Gold Medal!!
