Newmarket Redmen Holiday Heroes Toy Drive Donation
This Christmas season, the players from the Newmarket Redmen
Atom AA hockey team have partnered with the York Regional Police Holiday Heroes
campaign to purchase toys for children in need.
In partnering with this campaign, the players are able to support the Salvation Army and Victim Services of York Region and assist families in York Region who are having a difficult time this holiday season.
The players had a great time shopping together and picked out many different toys to donate. After each player purchased a gift, the team headed to Police Headquarters to make their donation to the campaign!
We are very proud of the boys for helping within their community and giving to others to help make Christmas a little more enjoyable for other children in Newmarket.
