COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE NEWMARKET FOOD PANTRY TOO.    

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO COLLECT FOOD DONATIONS AND MORE WEAR YOUR JERSEY

LOOKING FOR SOME COACHES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DUNK TANK                   

The Newmarket Minor Hockey Association has made a $500 donation to the Humboldt GoFundMe account on behalf of our members and executive.  

Those wishing to contribute can click on the link at the top of the NMHA.ca page.  Also, if you can, leave a hockey stick on the porch as a sign of solidarity and tribute for the Humboldt Broncos team.

The York-Simcoe Minor Hockey Association will be starting a new tradition by holding an annual Major Midget all-star game to recognize the Major Midget players that are in their final year of Midget eligibility. For many of these players, it means the end of their Rep hockey careers and we would like to recognize those graduating players through this showcase event. The Major Midget AA All Star game will be held on December 18, 2016 between 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the Aurora Community Center, Rink 1.

Let’s Play Hockey is a grassroots pond hockey program designed for children and youth ages 7-13 looking to get involved in the sport.  It is organized by Ken Smith, from Silver Stick International, in partnership with the Town of Newmarket and the NMHA.  The on-ice portion is ran by Jack Allin, a young player and coach who has a love for the game and wants to share it with everyone he knows. Jack has three on-ice helpers who share the same love for the game of hockey, Paul, Jesse, and Cobe.  Recognizing the passion by the coaches and players, the NMHA donate Jersey to this program so the players feel like a part of the Redmen family.
