Minor PeeWee AE, 2017-2018 (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

As a team, we committed to our sponsors that we would pay forward their generosity to our community.  On Saturday, December 16th, the NMHA Minor Peewee AE team spent the morning giving back to the community by helping out at the Newmarket Food Pantry.  Players and their parents were eager to donate their 1,000lbs. of food and to lend a hand in the Pantry for the morning.  

On Saturday, October 14th, friends and family of the NMHA Minor Peewee AE team supported a silent auction and raffle fundraiser. 

The Lincoln Motor Company is partnering with our NMHA Minor Peewee  AE team to conduct a test drive event.  For every valid test drive completed, Lincoln will donate $50.00 to our team, up to $7,500.00 maximum contribution.  Markville Ford Lincoln will be hosting this test-drive event on Sunday, October 22 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 P.m.   

A baseline study is done before an athlete sustains a concussion and is used to measure brain activity. An Athletic Therapist like UCSM can compare baseline brain activity to post-concussion activity on the same regions of the brain to properly assess and treat an athlete.

The Newmarket Redmen Minor Peewee AE team is proud to be the Silver finalist at the Markham Waxers Early Bird Tournament (2017). The final game was a nail biter as it progressed through overtime and on to a shootout. We would also like to congratulate the Flamborough Sabres for their hard-fought victory as Gold finalist.
