Atom AA - Finalists in Newmarket Atom Tournament!
Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Atom AA
team for making it to the finals at the Newmarket Atom Tournament on December
7, 2014. They advanced to the semi-finals with strong play in the preliminaries
vs the Caledon Hawks, West Ferris Trappers and Oshawa Minor Generals.
The Redmen faced the Orangeville Flyers in a thrilling semi-final game in front of a packed rink. After three periods and OT they were tied at 1-1. It took five shooters a side in the shoot out to come out with the dramatic win! They went on to claim silver in a 6-0 loss to West Ferris Trappers.
Congratulations to the team for the incredible effort they put forth, and congratulations to all of the coaches and parents. Way to go Redmen!!
