Timbits Tyke, 2015-2016 (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Tyke Select team on their Championship win at the recent Oshawa Heritage Classic Tournament over the February 5th – 7th weekend.        

Attention Newmarket Redmen Rep and House League players:   Post a picture of your Playoff Hockey Haircut using Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and you will be entered into our “NMHA Crazy Hair” contest to win a pair of Summer Skates. 

Congratulations to Major Tyke Team Gold who tied for first place at the Allan Nixon Memorial Tournament in Shelburne in January. The team cruised through the round-robin, outscoring their opponents 29-1, to earn a spot in the Championship game. The kids character came through in the finals, when they fought back from a 5-1 deficit to earn a 6-6 tie for first place. It was a great tournament for the whole team! Your coaches and parents are proud of your effort and teamwork!!!

OPEN TRY-OUTS for the 2015/16 Tyke Rostered Select Team will be held on November 16 & 17, 2015.
