Newmarket Minor Hockey

COACHING APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE U13AA TEAM FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON.  If you possess the following we would like to hear from you:  1. A desire to assist our players in the development of their hockey and life skills. 2. Knowledge and understanding of the Minor Hockey system in Ontario. 3. Must be able to provide current "Police Vulnerable Sector Check" report (if not on the PVSC Approved Member List with the NMHA) with the submission of your resume (or be willing to get one as part of the application process).

In an effort to reduce travel and accommodate the continued growth of the York Simcoe Minor Hockey League (YSMHL), the league and its member associations have voted in favor of a divisional realignment, effective for the 2025/26 season. Effective immediately, the YSMHL (U10-U18) will be split into two divisions—North/West and South/East—based on the geographical location of each association. This realignment is designed to improve scheduling efficiency and minimize travel distances for participating teams.
