U15 BB Head Coach - Jason MacDougall
Jason
MacDougall – U15 ‘BB’
Jason has been involved in hockey since the age of 10 and has proudly played
for the same organization for nearly 25 years — Go Bolts! A lifelong student of
the game, he brings both experience and a deep appreciation for hockey’s role
in building character, discipline, and community.
Over the
past two seasons, Jason has served as Assistant Trainer for the U13A and U14BB
teams. Through this experience, he has built strong relationships with players
and gained a clear understanding of their development as they prepare to enter
the U15BB season. He is grateful for the guidance and support of Coaches Mark
and Stu, as well as the dedicated staff who have contributed along the way.
As Head
Coach, Jason will work closely with his assistant coaches to deliver
structured, high-energy practices with a clear sense of purpose. A commitment
to competition, attention to detail, and consistent effort will define the
team’s identity and set the standard for how the group prepares and performs
each day.
Above all,
Jason believes his greatest impact will be in fostering a strong and supportive
team culture. As players enter Grade 9 and take on increasing responsibilities
beyond the rink, he wants the team environment to be one where they feel
valued, challenged, and proud to belong. Players will be encouraged to work
hard, support one another, and compete with intensity — while continuing to
enjoy the game.
Jason’s
goal is simple: to help each player grow, build a strong dressing room culture,
and represent the club with pride throughout the season.
