The Newmarket Minor Hockey Association Executive is thrilled to formerly announce the long-awaited return of Renegades Rep Banquets on April 16 & 17, 2025.

THE NMHA IS OFFERING WARM-UP SKATES FOR U8-U18 ATHLETES WHO ARE REGISTERED AND PARTICIPATED IN THE NMHA DURING THE 2024-25 SEASON

Newmarket Minor Hockey will be hosting First Shift again in March of 2025! Registration will open on June 3 at noon at www.firstshift.ca. This year the fee is $299 which includes full equipment and 6 skates! The NHL/NHLPA First Shift is open to children ages 6-10*, who have never previously enrolled in minor hockey within Canada or the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program. *To be eligible to participate, children must be born between January 1, 2013 and May 1, 2018.

2017-2018 Rep Coaches: The NMHA would like to express their sincere thanks to the volunteer time provided by this year’s Coach Selection Committee Members.  With 29 Coaching positions to fill, they invested countless hours combing through resumes, interviewing and gathering feedback from our 60th season to make their selections from the 48 applicants who stepped forward.

In order to align with all other associations in the OMHA, the NMHA will be open to Non-Resident Players (NRP’s) from Minor Peewee to Major Midget for the 2017-2018 season. For those who are unfamiliar with the Non-Resident Player (NRP) process, here is some clarifying information as outlined by the OMHA:
