Welcome to the Newmarket Renegades U16A Evaluation Page. I’m your Head Coach, Rob, and I’m excited to kick off another season and can’t wait to get on the ice with this group. Tryouts are where we begin building something special together.
I am looking to create a team that competes hard, not just with speed and skill but also with smarts, effort, and the right mindset. What really makes a player stand out is how they think about the game, how they respond to challenges, and how willing they are to do the little things.
Positioning, attitude, and coachability go a long way. If you bring those, along with a team-first mentality and a willingness to battle in tough moments, you’ll give yourself a great shot.

1st Evaluation Skate – Tuesday, May 6: 8:15 PM (Magna Pfaff)
2nd Evaluation Skate – Wednesday, May 7: 9:00 PM (Magna Forhan)
3rd Evaluation Game vs. Upper York – Friday, May 9: 7:45 PM (Magna Pfaff)
4th Evaluation Game @ Upper York – Saturday, May 10: 4:00 PM (EG Sports Complex)
