2025-26 U13 Tryouts
Welcome to tryouts for the Newmarket U13 AA Team.
I want to start off by thanking all particpants and families for their interest in our organization and team, there's lots of good ones.
We're looking forward to watching both weekend sessions and closely evaluating all players and making the best for them and our team.
The weekend sessions will be standard evaluations to see the players skills and abilities in key areas of the game, following each session there will be a meeting to review which candidates will go to the Sunday session. After the Sunday session a select group of players will be selected to compete in one or both exhibition games next week.
We're looking forward to a competitive weekend that will allow us to evaluate the players abilities, competitveness, mental toughness and habits on and off-ice. We will also be looking for individuals that show respect, intelligence and commitment, this will also be evaluated throughout the upcoming week as those traits will be emphasized and developed over the next year.
In addition to the players ability, the next week is also about identifying the individuals that really love hockey, will do what's best for the team at all times and are committed to improving each and every day.
