New to Hockey? First Shift Program is Back!
Newmarket Minor Hockey will be hosting First Shift again in March of 2025!

Registration will open on June 3 at noon at www.firstshift.ca. This year the fee is $299 which includes full equipment and 6 skates!

The NHL/NHLPA First Shift is open to children ages 6-10*, who have never previously enrolled in minor hockey within Canada or the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program.

*To be eligible to participate, children must be born between January 1, 2013 and May 1, 2018.

Newmarket First Shift Session Dates Are: 

March 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30, 2025.
