Kevin Lillico brings passion,
experience and strong leadership to the U8 MD Newmarket Renegades.
Kevin Lillico – U8 ‘MD’
Kevin has been involved in hockey for the past 35 years (Player, Referee &
Coach).
As a former rep player in the
GTHL, Kevin understands the commitment and work ethic required to compete at a
high level. He brings the same dedication to his coaching, emphasizing a
strong worth ethic, teamwork, leadership and respect.
Kevin’s experience extends
beyond coaching. He officiated with the Greater Toronto Hockey League and was
selected to referee at the In-line Hockey World Championships in France, an
achievement that reflects his deep understanding of the game and dedication to
excellence.
Coach Kevin’s career includes
working with Opti hockey the past 4 seasons as a head coach, creating an Opti
Prime program (rep prep), and spent 2 seasons with the Central York Panthers,
including coaching a U11 DS team. He is committed to building strong
fundamentals, developing hockey IQ and creating a positive environment where
young athletes can grow in both skill and confidence.
Coach Kevin is passionate about
teaching the game the right way, focusing not only on skill development, but
also on character, work ethic, sportsmanship and fostering a lifelong love of
hockey.
