U18 BB, BB Rep (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the Newmarket Renegades U18BB team for winning the Silverstick tournament in Brampton this past weekend!! With competition from across Ontario, the boys faced teams from Brampton, Caledon, Milton, Fergus, and Sarnia.  They showed tremendous teamwork, energy, and effort to finish the tournament with a 4-2 record, placing them in the Silverstick Finals on Sunday and bringing home the gold! 

Newmarket Minor Hockey will be hosting First Shift again in March of 2025! Registration will open on June 3 at noon at www.firstshift.ca. This year the fee is $299 which includes full equipment and 6 skates! The NHL/NHLPA First Shift is open to children ages 6-10*, who have never previously enrolled in minor hockey within Canada or the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program. *To be eligible to participate, children must be born between January 1, 2013 and May 1, 2018.
