Adapted from Original Article by Kevin Neeld I was recently asked by a parent on the team how to help their son conserve energy during their shifts, as they are one of the kids who always takes short shifts due to the energy expended while on the ice. 

The coaching staff is extremely proud of this group of young men.  The team battled hard to win 3 straight games that secured their berth in the Oakville Winter Classic tournament finals.  Even though they came up short in the final game against a tough Barrie Colts team, they gave everything they had and left nothing on the ice.

As we head into a time in our schedule with many practices and zero games, we will continue to focus on our player development - we have "Perfect Skating" and Andrew Crescenzi PRO Hockey moving forward to help out - which is fantastic.

Hi Team - I just wanted to congratulate the boys on their great start to our season: 2-0-0! We have lots of work to do, but we have already overcome some team adversary and the perseverance in our first victory was great to see. We can be excited and proud heading into our first tournament in St. Catharines this weekend with some amazing team building fun planned in Niagara Falls. See you all at the rink! Coach Jon
