    Playoff format:
The top team in each of the three groups will advance.
The 4th team will be determined by:

         A) 1st place will be the team that accumulated the most points during the round robin, second place the next highest points and so on.
         B)  If there are Group winners tied with the same amount of points from the round robin – the team with the highest percentage will be declared the higher placed team.
         C)  The team that is determined to be the 4th place team from the round robin will remain the 4th place team in placing for the Semi-finals.

The_Cup_Champs_banner.jpgCongratulations to the Newmarket Redmen PeeWee AA Team for our impressive tournament win in Buffalo. There were 20 teams from North America, in 4 divisions. Finishing first in our division with 3 wins and 1 tie, playing teams from Buffalo, Burlington, Carolina and Syracuse with 22 GF and 5 Against.

In between the tournament games on Saturday the team watched the Buffalo Sabres play against the Philadelphia Flyers, for some this was their first NHL game. After the game the team met with 2 time Stanley Cup champion Scott Wilson who shared his experiences getting to the NHL, and offered some sage advice, no matter what You've Gotta Believe! in yourself and your teammates.

In the quarterfinal matchup Sunday morning the team beat the Atlanta Fire 2-0. In the semi-finals against the Amherst Knights the Redmen came out on top 3-1. In the finals the team played the #1 seed in the tournament, the Kitchener Rangers. In an exciting finish the Redmen came out on top 3-0.

Congratulations Newmarket - A lifetime of memories
