Atom A, 2017-2018 (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

The Atom A boys won the Championship after hosting the local Newmarket Major Atom A tournament this weekend. A tough loss to the Temiskaming Shores Puckhounds during the Round Robin, gave the team the motivation to work hard in the final game against the same team. They persevered to win the Championship with a 1-0 victory! The team had great support in the stands from family, friends and fellow Redmen, which gave them the drive to win the game! Our Redmen Atom A boys brought home the Championship at the Can/Am Hockey Challenge Cup in Montreal today! After 3 exciting games to get to the finals, the team worked hard and won the Championship game with a 3-1 victory. Great teamwork and effort in every game, living up to the team motto 'Whatever it takes, we work together!' Congratulations to the Atom A boys, coaches and families on a fantastic weekend!
