1st Game : Friday November 25th at 11:40am vs Port Perry.
2nd Game : Friday November 25th at 5:30pm vs Midland.
3rd Game : Saturday November 26th at 3:10pm vs Barrie.
Arena : all 3 games at MMHA Pad, 527 Len Self Boulevard, Midland.
Four Division Set Up:
A - Newmarket, Barrie, Midland, Port Perry (4 team division plays each team once).
B - Orillia, Collingwood, Oakville, East Gwillmbury.
C - New Hamburg, Kingston, Aurora (3 team division plays each once, & one cross over from other 3 team division).
D - South Muskoka, Brantford, Innisfil.
Top Team from each division advances to Playoff Round:
Semis Sunday at 9am.
Finals Sunday at 2pm.
Tie Breakers : 1. Most points in group, 2. Head to Head if tied, 3. Goals for dividied by total of goals for and against (highest percentage wins), 4. team with least amount of penalty minutes during round robin games.

Rules and Regulations 2016
1. O.M.H.A. and C.A.H.A. rules will apply.
2. Approved O.M.H.A. electronic rosters will be required as proof of player eligibility. These rosters MUST be presented to the Tournament Representative before your first game. No player will be allowed to play unless they appear on the approved O.M.H.A. player roster. PLEASE DO NOT ASK IF A PLAYER CAN PLAY IF YOU CANNOT PRODUCE ANY OF THE ABOVE FOR SAID PLAYER. Approved rosters must be dated no later than November 24th, 2016 for Bantam & Midget teams and no later than December 1st, 2016 for Novice, Atom & PeeWee teams
3. Only those players listed, along with their signatures, on the Official Tournament Roster Sheet will be allowed to participate in this Tournament. No names are allowed to be added after the start of your first game. A maximum of 19 players including “AP” players will be allowed on a team roster with 17 players and 2 goalies allowed to dress for each game.
4. A team must report to their dressing room one hour prior to scheduled game time and must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time in the event we are ahead of schedule.
5. Teams must not go on the ice until the back doors are closed. All teams must go directly to their respective benches at the end of regulation time or overtime
6. Games shall be 2 periods of 10 minute stop time and one period of 15 minutes stop time in round robin, NO OVERTIME and no timeout allowed. In semi finals & Finals, periods will be 1 period 10 minute stop time with the 2nd and 3rd period being 15 minute stop time. One timeout per team will be allowed
7. The following rules will apply for tied games in a semi final and championship game: 10 minute stop time period sudden death victory with first goal wins. Otherwise change ends every 10 minutes until game is finished.
8. Fighting & Match penalties will carry an automatic ejection from the Tournament. There will be no appeals of this rule.
9. Game Misconducts: Determined as per OMHA Manual of Operations
10. Travesty: Any Player, Coach, Manager or Trainer found to be making a travesty of the game shall be expelled from further tournament participation.
11. Abuse: Any Player, Coach, Manager or Trainer found to be abusive toward any Tournament Official or Referee will be expelled from further Tournament participation at the discretion of the Tournament committee.
12. Ejection: Any Player ejected from a game, for any reason, shall remain in the team’s dressing room until the teams Manager along with a Tournament Official has spoken with the ejected player. Failure to do so could result in expulsion from the Tournament. This will be monitored by “Silver Stick Tournament Officials”.
13. Once a player is assessed his 2nd unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in any one game, he will be automatically suspended for the remainder of that game and his team’s next tournament game.
14. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to make all decisions regarding tournament rules, regulations or protests. All such decisions shall be final.
15. Tie Breaking Formula -
Applies to all divisions:
1. Most points in the Group
2. Head to Head only if two teams are tied.
3. Goals for divided by the total of goals for and against. High percentage advances.
4. Team with the least amount of penalty minutes accumulated during the round robin games.
Semi-Final Format Applicable to ( 6 ) & ( 8 ) Team Division –
1. The first place and second place team from each group will advance
2. The second place team from each group will be the team with the next highest point total within the group. If the teams are tied in points, the following tie break formula would be implemented:
A) Head to Head
B) The team which has the highest percentage of goals for divided by the total goals for and against.
C) If these teams are tied in percentage the team with the least amount of penalty minutes accumulated during the round robin games would advance
3. Placing for the Semi finals will be as follows: 1st Place Group A versus 2nd Place Group B
1st Place Group B versus 2nd Place Group A
Semi-Final Format Applicable to all Ten (10) and Twelve (12) Team Divisions –
1. The top team in each of the three groups will advance
2. The 4th team will be determined by:
A) The team with the most points from the remaining teams
B) If any number of teams are tied in points the following tie break formula would be implemented:
The team which has the highest percentage of goals for divided by the total goals for and against
C) If these teams are tied in percentage the team with the least amount of penalty minutes accumulated during the round robin games would advance
3. Placing for the Semi finals will be determined in the following manner:
A) Ist place will be the team that accumulated the most points during the round robin, second place the next highest points and so on
B) If there are Group winners tied with the same amount of points from the round robin – the team with the highest percentage will be declared the higher placed team.
C) The team that is determined to be the 4th place team from the round robin will remain the 4th place team in placing for the Semi-finals.
Semi-Final Format Applicable to Fourteen(14) & Sixteen(16) Team Division –
- The top team in each of the four groups will advance
- Placing for the Semi- Finals will be determined in the following manner:
A) 1st place will be the team that accumulated the most points during the round robin, second place the next highest points and so on.
B) If there are Group winners tied with the same amount of points from the round robin – the team with the highest percentage will be declared the higher placed team. Percentage is determined by goals for divided by the total goals for and against
