Atom, 2014-2015, A (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

During the Skills Competition in Lake Placid - the Atom A Redmen's skills were on full display. After a great showing by Cooper Elliot in the individual scorer competition - our team went on to be the champs, beating out competitors from 9 other teams in both the goalie competition - Kade Hennessy - and the fastest skater relay competition - Luke Sirry, Brody Hassall, Ethan Mitchell and Adam Cadenhead. Congratulations team!

After a slow start to the tournament, the Atom A Redmen came on strong in the last couple of games, securing a spot in the bronze medal game and then going on to win the bronze medal with a resounding 5-1 win against the Ridgefield Lions. A fun and successful tournament had by all. Big thanks to our coaches, manager and parents who cheered us on!
