Atom, 2014-2015, AA (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Atom AA team for making it to the finals at the Newmarket Atom Tournament on December 7, 2014. They advanced to the semi-finals with strong play in the preliminaries vs the Caledon Hawks, West Ferris Trappers and Oshawa Minor Generals.     The Redmen faced the Orangeville Flyers in a thrilling semi-final game in front of a packed rink. After three periods and OT they were tied at 1-1. It took five shooters a side in the shoot out to come out with the dramatic win! They went on to claim silver in a 6-0 loss to West Ferris Trappers.

Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Atom AA team for winning the Motown Cup Tournament in Detroit, MI October 10-12th, 2014. The Redmen advanced to the semi-final round with strong play in the preliminaries vs the LaSalle Sabres, Clarkson Hurricanes and Bay Shore Bruins. In the semi-final game, the Redmen beat the Grosse Ile Islanders 6-1 to advance to the Gold Medal game on Sunday afternoon.
