NMHA Programs - NMHA offers a variety of programs geared towards ALL skill levels.
House League
• For players 4 to 20
• Mini / Minor Tyke
o 5 & 6 year olds
o It IS a learn to skate AND learn to play hockey
• Regular House League
o from 7 years old to 20 year olds
o Twice a week commitment
o Welcomes ALL skill levels
o ALL age groups are non-body checking
o Focus is on having fun
o Teams are balanced to ensure a fun and competitive level for all
o Hockey Development Specialty Clinics for players and goalies
Rostered Select
• Consist of House League players
• Play a number of exhibition games and/or tournaments
• It’s a house league plus offering a representative experience at a reduced level, time and money.
Representative – AE, A, AA
• AA - NMHA first teams are defined, as the most competitive teams in our Association, and as such the best players available must play for the first team in each category.
• A - NMHA second teams are defined as development teams, to enable our Association to develop players for the first teams.
• AE - NMHA third teams are defined as development teams, to enable our Association to develop players for our first and second teams
NEWMARKET POND HOCKEY – Let’s Play Hockey A beginner pond hockey program designed for children and youth looking to get involved in this sport. This hockey program will entail a instructional session followed by a scrimmage. This program administered by the Town of Newmarket and is run in partnership with Newmarket Minor Hockey Association.

NEWMARKET NIGHTHAWKS – This organization was established to give developmentally challenged players the opportunity to participate in a hockey program geared to their own unique abilities.
