
NMHA Spring Evaluation Policy
Spring Evaluations: U8 to U18
- All players must register and pay for an NMHA Evaluation Passport, the registration link will be available starting Wednesday April 2nd. The NMHA passport cost will be $75.00 and will cover all evaluations for one age group.
- Registration will be done through Spordle (Hockey Canada). REGISTER NOW
- Players may choose to attend evaluations starting at the AA level but can self select to their preferred level of play at any time.
- Players wishing to evaluate at an older age group must follow the NMHA Age
Exemption Policy and will need confirmation from the NMHA at least one week
prior to the first evaluation of the age group the player is trying out for. For
further information, please refer to our “Rep Hockey Age Exemption Policy”
under the Rep tab on the homepage of our website.
- U14 - U18 A/AA are body contact age groups. Any player who wishes to attend these evaluations must have attended a checking clinic before attending. Players who do not wish to participate in the body contact levels should select the ‘BB’ evaluation option.
- All players are reminded to wear proper equipment per the OMHA rules. This
includes, mouth guards, neck protection and goalie 'dangles' (plastic neck guards).
Players not wearing appropriate protection in compliance with OMHA rules will
be removed from the ice surface.
- Player passport numbers will be assigned 2 days prior to the first evaluation skate.

Player Selection
- When a players has been selected for a team the Head Coach will send a private email with a registration link to the email that you registered with.
- This registration link must be completed within 24 hours and will be your player commitment for the 2025-2026 season. Initial registration payment of 50% of the NMHA registration will be collected at this time via the Spordle (Hockey Canada) Registration Link.
