Todd is entering his third year as a Head Coach in Newmarket and is excited to be returning as the U18BB coach. He has been involved in helping coach in Newmarket for the last five years and prior to moving to Newmarket, Todd coached hockey in Winnipeg for six years. His priority is to create a great experience for the kids and families that play on his team.
Todd's focus is on encouraging a fun learning environment, skill and tactical development, and playing as a team. His skill development focuses on team play and developing the individual player skills to succeed in that team philosophy. It is important that each player understands how a team works and that everyone has a role to make the team successful.
At the end of the season, Todd's goals are that each player had fun, developed friendships, were given quality instruction and each player feels they had a hand in the teams success.
