My name is Wayne Galata, our family has been living in Newmarket for the past 10 years.
I am very excited to be working with the Newmarket Renegades U13 BB group for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. My philosophy is to promote a safe, healthy, fun, positive experience with an emphasis on individual and team skill development and helping to build character within a team environment.
I have had the privilege of coaching young athletes in the OMHA and GTHL as a head coach and assistant coach. As I former player, I played semi professionally in Canada and Europe. As a person who naturally enjoys to teach and nurture, I also have a golf teaching card through the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation and love to help golfers at all levels. In the past, as a head coach with the Newmarket Vipers ball hockey association we were successful in winning a few gold medals and had a great group of players and parents supporting our efforts.
