Reid grew up loving and playing hockey at an early age. He started his minor hockey journey playing for the rival Aurora Tigers before playing AAA for the Markham Waxers and York Simcoe Express. After minor hockey, Reid played 2 seasons in the Ontario Provincial JR A hockey league with his highlight playing in the Royal Bank Cup National Championship.
Reid has been an active coach the last 5 years coaching his 3 children in Timbits, CYGHA and NMHA. Reid has a passion for creating a fun, inclusive environment where the kids can develop both on and off the ice. As a coach, Reid will encourage hard work, team first mentality and sportsmanship while in the pursuit of achieving individual and team goals on the ice.
