5 games into the season and our division has seen some very exciting competitive hockey. So far we have had 5 games end in ties and 4 games decided by 1 goal. Great work.
I wanted to update you on some on and off ice action that is coming up.
Firstly this weekend is the Battle of Yonge Street where Newmarket vies for Yonge Street Supremacy against our near town rival the Aurora Tigers. The kick off is tonight with the Newmarket Hurricanes playing the Aurora Tigers at Ray Twinney 1 at 7:30 PM. All players wearing a Redmen jersey get in free. Secondly, Major Peewee Coaches will be handing out Picture Day packages and the Newmarket Fan Pass this weekend. Please make sure you get both packages.
Final reminder is that Major Peewee Development Clinics have started. Our goalies were on the ice on Monday night and Team Shooting and Puck Handling Clinics start next week.
