The Newmarket Minor Hockey Association Executive is thrilled to formerly announce the long-awaited return of Renegades Rep Banquets on April 16 & 17, 2025.

THE NMHA IS OFFERING WARM-UP SKATES FOR U8-U18 ATHLETES WHO ARE REGISTERED AND PARTICIPATED IN THE NMHA DURING THE 2024-25 SEASON

Body-checking is an integral part of rep hockey starting at Minor Bantam and will be assessed during this year’s tryouts.  It is highly recommend that all athletes wishing to participate in the 2017-2018 team tryouts for the 2017-2018 Minor Bantam (2004) and Bantam (2003) age groups have some prior training in body-checking.  As a result, the NMHA will offer body-checking clinics for these age groups.  Please note, your athlete MUST have been registered with the NMHA for the 2016-2017 season in order to qualify.

2017-2018 Rep Coaches: The NMHA would like to express their sincere thanks to the volunteer time provided by this year’s Coach Selection Committee Members.  With 29 Coaching positions to fill, they invested countless hours combing through resumes, interviewing and gathering feedback from our 60th season to make their selections from the 48 applicants who stepped forward.

In order to align with all other associations in the OMHA, the NMHA will be open to Non-Resident Players (NRP’s) from Minor Peewee to Major Midget for the 2017-2018 season.
