U11 A Head Coach - Greg Moore
Greg Moore – U11 ‘A’
Coach Greg has had a life-long involvement in hockey. His hockey journey began
with playing minor hockey in Georgina, where he achieved both individual and
team success, which shaped his understanding and love of the game. Following
his playing career, he transitioned into coaching minor hockey at the U16
Level, from 2010 to 2013, reinforcing his long-standing commitment to athlete
development and team growth. Most recently, he served as an Assistant Coach to
the U10-A team last season, right here in Newmarket, where his efforts
contributed to the team’s structured development, competitive performance, and
positive team environment.
Coach Greg's coaching philosophy is centered on
discipline, leadership, preparation, accountability and continuous improvement.
He prioritizes both player development and overall team growth, emphasizing a
team-first mindset and strong fundamental hockey IQ. Coach Greg fosters a
positive yet competitive environment; where effort, respect and teamwork are
the building blocks to long-term success both on and off the ice.
His objective moving forward is to build upon the
established team culture and achievements from the previous season. Coach Greg
is committed to developing confident, fundamentally sound athletes who
represent the organization with integrity, pride and sportsmanship.
