U9 MD "RED" Head Coach - Michael Davies
Michael Davies – U9 ‘MD’ Red
Having grown up playing within the Newmarket Minor Hockey Association, he is
proud to have developed through the same program he now leads. He served as an
Assistant Coach with the U8 MD team (White) in 2025/26 and has spent the past
four years actively coaching two of his sons. Outside of hockey Mike has
coached baseball for the past 4 years in Newmarket.
With a lifelong passion for the game, he is committed to creating a
positive, structured environment where young athletes can build strong
foundational skills, develop confidence, and learn the value of teamwork and
accountability. His focus is on helping players not only improve their on-ice
abilities, but also grow their love of hockey and pride in representing their
community.
