Breaking Hockey News:   Newmarket to host the 1st stop on Rogers Hometown Hockey 2016-2017 tour! 

When: Weekend of October 15th & 16th, 2016

Where: Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, 100 Eagle Street West, Newmarket, ON.  

Hitting the road for their third season, Rogers Hometown Hockey along with host Ron MacLean and Tara Slone,

shine the national spotlight on The Town of Newmarket and the Newmarket Minor Hockey Association during the first stop on the Canadian coast to coast tour!

This event coincides with the kick-off of the NMHA’s 60th Anniversary season and includes a weekend long celebration packed with games, giveaways and hockey superstars.   

On Sunday (Oct 16th, 6:30pm ET) Rogers Hometown Hockey makes its return to the Sunday night NHL line-up on Sportsnet as Newmarket’s Connor McDavid faces off against Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres in Edmonton.
