2016/17 House League Update
Submitted By Dan Levesque on Thursday, August 4, 2016
Registration closed July 31 and we now have our team counts.

There are some changes this season due to registration numbers, ice time and other factors.  We have had to combine age groups much like they do in many other sports associations.

The Divisions and number of teams are as follows:

1.     Mini-Tyke                    6

2.     Minor-Tyke                  6

3.     Tyke                           4

Minor Atom through Major Bantam will now be three Minor/Major combined divisions

4.     Atom                          8          (2006 & 2007 birth years)

5.     Peewee                       8          (2004 & 2005 birth years)

6.     Bantam                      10        (2002 & 2003 birth years)

7.     Minor Midget              6

8.     Midget/Juvenile          8

All teams in the combined divisions will be drafted keeping in mind birth year and skill level in order to make teams as balanced as possible.

Head Coaches/Team Officials who indicated an interest in the Minor Atom, Minor Peewee or Minor Bantam divisions will be considered for the combined divisions.

Schedules are being finalized over the next week and coaches will also be notified in the next 2 weeks.  The season begins September 24!

I am looking forward to a great season!

See you at the rink.
