In a tightly contested series that went the full three games, the U13 B1 Renegades defeated the regular-season leading Aurora Tigers 3–1 on Friday, March 20 to capture the York Simcoe League Championship.
The series featured a dramatic turning point in Game 2, when the Renegades scored the game-winning goal at the buzzer to force a decisive third game. Carrying that momentum forward, the team delivered a strong performance in Game 3 to secure the title and punch their ticket to the OMHA Finals.
