BILLET FAMILIES NEEDED FOR FINNISH TEAMS ATTENDING SPRING THAW TOURNAMENT THIS APRIL
NMHA and the Newmarket Renegades are excited about a great international opportunity coming to the SPRING THAW tournament running April 10-12.
Three teams from Finland confirmed in joining the U14 A/AA tournament and possible warm-up/exhibition games.
These youth teams have reached out to the NMHA for assistance in finding 22 families that may be interested in billeting groups of two or 3 players and chaperones during this time period.
This would be outstanding opportunity to show how supportive our NMHA families can be to the international hockey community!
22-23 billet families needed - taking 2 players each (1 group has 3 players, but could likely add one more billet and make one group a single)
3 Finnish teams are competing in our NMHA Spring Thaw Tournament - running April 10, 11, 12
Nights needed- April 9th, 10th & 11th (**Arriving late afternoon on the 9th, then the team is leaving for Pearson to catch a flight home to Finland after their games are completed Sunday)
Assist players with breakfast on the 10th & 11th, plus help provide anything else they may need to make their stay comfortable
Possible travel assistance would be needed to taking the players to/from Magna.
The teams have buses lined up, so any other 'team' travel will be looked after
