International Silver Stick Finals A Great Success
This past weekend, Newmarket hosted the International Silver Stick finals for the age groups U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups.
Championship teams arrived from all reaches of Canada and USA. We welcomed teams as far as Michigan, Florida, Arizona as well as regions all over Ontario. These young athletes battled to claim the top prize of International Silver Stick Champions. There was also a All Star skills competition for the players to show off their amazing skills.
Overall, the tournament was a great success and once again put the town of Newmarket on the prestigious hockey map.
