The BATTLE is back... and it's bigger than ever!
The rivalry is heating up between two local hockey communities - the Newmarket Renegades and Aurora Tigers - who face off on a weekend of hometown pride and great hockey.
This year marks the 19th annual
Battle of Yonge Street where your Newmarket Renegades will take on the Aurora Tigers with games running Friday, October 24th to Sunday, October 26th at Magna Recreation Centre and Stronach Aurora Recreation Centre. This year's ceremonial puck drop will be Fri Oct 24th at 7:00 PM at Magna Forhan at the U15 AA game.
Newmarket has been the reigning champions of bragging rights for the past
SIX YEARS and hope to come out with another battle win to keep the incredible streak going.
This is an exciting weekend for our athletes, with some friendly competition against our neighbours to the south! Whether you bleed Renegade Red or roar for the Aurora Tigers, this is your chance to show your town's pride and cheer your local players to victory!
