Midget Rep Team Announcement
Submitted By Murray Taylor on Tuesday, September 9, 2014
On behalf of the NMHA Rep program, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Stewart as our Midget A Coach.

Mike brings with him many years of hockey coaching experience. He has most recently coached at the Junior C level for several years, and prior to that, at various competitive levels of Midget hockey.

Mike has just recently re-located to Newmarket and is excited at the prospect of joining the NMHA. He views his position simply as being a teacher of the game and believes success comes with proper preparation. We are very confident that he will be a positive influence within the NMHA and excited to welcome him to this opportunity.

As such, the NMHA is holding a new set of tryouts for the Midget A team. Tryouts will be held on:

10-Sept  9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  Ray Twinney #1
11-Sept  9:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.  Magna Pfaff

All registered, Midget aged players (’97 & ’98 birth years) who are interested in playing hockey at a competitive level are encouraged to come to this final opportunity to try out for a competitive Midget team. There will be no cost associated with these skates.

Murray Taylor
President
Newmarket Minor Hockey Association
