U14A RENGADES - FINALISTS @ DUNSMUIR MEMORIAL
The
U14A Renegades competed in the Dunsmuir Memorial Tournament this past weekend.
The team went 2-1-0 in the round robin allowing the team the opportunity
to play in the semis.
In
the semi’s, the team faced the Ottawa Valley Aces for the second time in the
tournament.
It was a hard fought battle late into the third when our team scored on a power play making the game 1-0 with just over 3 minutes left in the game. The team continued to work hard defensively to earn a spot in the finals. The team faced the Perth Lanark Wings in the finals and finished with a silver medal losing a hard fought game 3-2. The team should be proud of their showing at the tournament and look forward to working hard with the final push of the season.”
