It’s
that time of year again – the 16th Annual Home & Home Series
takes place this weekend, Oct 27-29th. Newmarket Renegades face off
against the Aurora Tigers in a series of games taking place from Friday -
Sunday at the Magna Centre, Ray Twinney 1, Aurora Community Centre and Stronach
ARC. This is an exciting weekend for our athletes, with some friendly
competition against our neighbours to the south!
In 2022, the Renegades won the
Battle of Yonge St, so we head into the 16th Annual Weekend ahead by
one series, with 8 wins under our belt! Ceremonial puck drop by Newmarket’s
Mayor John Taylor will be Fri Oct 27th at 8pm at Ray Twinney 1.

A BIG THANK YOU to
our Home & Home Weekend Sponsor – Dickie’s No Frills for generously
donating Player of the Game Awards for both teams during all
the Newmarket home games in the series again this year.
FOOD DRIVE REMINDER
This annual event also
provides a great opportunity to give back to our community. To this end, Oct 27-29,
NMHA, in partnership with Home
& Home Weekend Sponsor Dickie’s No Frills will be
hosting a Food Drive event in support of the Newmarket Food Pantry at the Magna Centre. It is
the goal of the Newmarket Food Pantry to provide as much healthy food as they
can to their clients. With that in mind, please ensure that all items are not
past their best before date. We will be collecting non-perishable
food items throughout the weekend.
Thank you so much for helping us stock the Newmarket Food Pantry's shelves and support their efforts to feed those in need in our community.
RENEGADES APPAREL FOR SALE ON THE MAGNA LOWER LEVEL
Throughout the weekend, we will once again have Renegades & Battle of Yonge St. apparel available for purchase in the Magna Centre lower-level lobby area.
GO RENEGADES!!!
